Meet the San Diego Team Behind Penhallow Remodeling San Diego
You’ll see the same faces from the first estimate to the final walkthrough. Penhallow Remodeling San Diego is a small, tight crew of remodelers who’ve spent years working in San Diego homes, from Mission Hills craftsman bungalows to Clairemont ranches. We’re background-checked, we show up in uniform, and we put our names on the work. The people below are the ones who’ll actually be in your kitchen, your bathroom, or your hallway. No subcontractor roulette, no mystery crew. Just us.
Our People

Trevor Nash, Owner and Lead Remodeler
Trevor has been remodeling homes in San Diego for over 15 years. He started as a framing carpenter, spent a stretch running finish work on high-end kitchen remodels in La Jolla, and now leads every Penhallow project from the initial walkthrough to the 365-day check-in. He’s the one who’ll tell you that your load-bearing wall can come down, but you’ll need a properly sized beam and a permit, and he’ll sketch the load path on a napkin so it actually makes sense. Trevor writes every project quote himself. He lives in North Park and still does his own tile work when a job calls for it.
Manny R., Senior Installer
Manny has been setting cabinets and hanging drywall for 18 years, the last six of them with Penhallow. He’s our go-to for cabinet installation and finish carpentry, and he’s the reason our KraftMaid and Wellborn installs come out square, level, and quiet when the doors close. Manny grew up in Chula Vista and can tell you which local homes were built before earthquake strapping was code, and what that means for your kitchen remodel. Off the clock, he’s rebuilding a 1965 Ford pickup in his garage, one fender at a time.
Dana K., Service Coordinator
Dana is the person who answers when you call (619) 604-9624. She’s been coordinating construction schedules in San Diego for nine years and knows the City of San Diego permit office waiting times by heart, which saves our clients real weeks on kitchen and bathroom projects. Dana keeps every job on a written schedule, confirms your arrival window the day before, and makes sure the job site is clean at the end of every workday. She’s the one who’ll remember that your dog’s name is Biscuit and that Wednesday is trash day in your neighborhood.
Leo S., Apprentice Remodeler
Leo joined Penhallow two years ago after completing a construction trades program at San Diego City College. He works alongside Trevor and Manny on demo days, tile prep, and finish punch lists, learning the standard on every job. Leo handles a lot of the cement board substrate work (the moisture-resistant layer behind your shower tile) and takes real pride in getting seams tight and corners flat. He’s a born-and-raised San Diego kid, surfs at Tourmaline when the swell cooperates, and is working toward his own lead installer seat.
Styles & brands we work with

One Standard, Every Job
Every Penhallow Remodeling San Diego project runs on the same operating rules the Kingswell brand has used since 2004. Say the price before the work. Show up in the window we gave. Leave the place cleaner than we found it. That’s The Kingswell Way, and it’s not a poster on the wall. It’s a written price before anything starts, a defined arrival window on every schedule, and a written guarantee on every project. And here’s the part that matters if something goes wrong later: our 365-Day Done Right Promise covers every job in writing. If the work fails inside the guarantee period, we come back and fix it at no charge. No service call, no re-inspection fee. If a repair fails, the second visit is free. Every technician on your project, from Trevor to Leo, works under that same promise. This San Diego location is independently owned and operated as part of the Kingswell family of companies, and we hold our local crew to a standard that’s been running since 2004.
Frequently Asked Questions

You’ll get the same small crew from start to finish: Trevor, Manny, and Leo on the work, with Dana coordinating your schedule. We don’t hand your project to a rotating cast of subcontractors. The people you meet at the estimate are the people in your home. If an outside trade is ever needed for something specialized, it’s scheduled and supervised by Trevor directly.
Yes. Every Penhallow Remodeling San Diego team member passes a background check before they ever walk into a client’s home, and everyone wears a company uniform. You’ll know exactly who’s at your door. That’s a standing operating practice, not a special request.
Always. Not an estimate range, not a verbal ballpark. You get a written number you can hold us to, before any work begins. Kitchen remodels typically run $18,000 to $55,000 depending on layout, cabinet line, and countertop material. Bathroom remodels usually fall between $12,000 and $30,000. Whole-home remodels vary widely based on square footage and scope. Call (619) 604-9624 and Trevor will walk you through exactly what drives your number up or down.
That’s what the 365-Day Done Right Promise is for. If work fails inside the guarantee period, we come back and fix it at no charge. If a repair we made fails, the second visit is free. No service call, no re-inspection fee. It’s covered in writing on every project, and a live person answers the phone 24/7 if you ever need to reach us.
