Tremron Fence Installation: The San Diego Owner’s Guide
If you’ve got a Tremron fence product and the installation is failing, we can match the right hardware, footing, and alignment to your specific Tremron line and get it set right. Tremron fence installation in San Diego typically runs $4,130 – $10,620 depending on the footage, the condition of the soil, and whether you’re working with a Tremron Elite or Tremron Standard product. Most owners don’t catch the problem until a post leans or a panel shifts. What they’re really seeing is a footing that’s failed below grade, a post that was shimmed instead of set, or hardware that was never rated for Tremron’s post wall thickness.
We’re an independent San Diego contractor, so we’re not affiliated with Tremron directly. But we stock Tremron-compatible hardware and regularly pull permits for fence work within city lines. If your fence is leaning, binding at the gate, or panels have started to pull free of the posts, call (619) 604-9624 and ask for Trevor. We’ll tell you what’s actually wrong before we quote a dollar figure.
Which Tremron Models This Applies To

Tremron makes precast concrete fence kits in two families that show up constantly around San Diego: the Tremron Elite line, which uses a smooth-faced post and panel with a hidden tongue-and-groove seam, and the Tremron Standard line, which uses exposed hardware and a slightly thinner panel cross-section. The part number on the stake or bottom rail will tell you what you have. Elite posts are 4 inches square with a 3/16-inch wall; Standard posts are 3.5 inches square with a thinner wall, so the two are not interchangeable without adapter plates.
The gotcha we see on a lot of San Diego jobs: someone sets an Elite panel on a Standard post with a shim, and the first good Santa Ana wind season walks that shim right out of the footing. If you’re comparing OEM Tremron parts to aftermarket equivalents, aftermarket post brackets and leveling hardware are usually fine, but skip generic big-box anchors. They don’t match Tremron’s post-shoulder profile and the galvanized coating fails fast in coastal salt air within a few miles of the water. Any part we install is matched to the specific line and, where it helps, carries both the manufacturer’s warranty and our written workmanship guarantee.

Signs Your Tremron Fence Installation Is Failing
- Post lean of more than an inch off plumb. The footing has heaved or the concrete pour was never carried below grade. In San Diego’s clay-heavy east county soils, seasonal moisture shifts will keep pushing that post unless the base is reset and packed correctly.
- Panels that rattle or click in the wind. The panel has shifted past its intended bearing on the post shoulder. On the Elite line, that means the hidden seam has opened up and the panel is floating. It’s not just noise. The panel is slowly working its bolts loose.
- Gate bind or sag at the latch. The gate post was never set deep enough to hold the swing weight, or the hinge hardware is undersized for a Tremron panel. You’ll see the gate corner dip first.
- Rust streaks at the post base or bracket points. Non-galvanized hardware or knockoff anchors reacting with coastal moisture. Once that rust starts, the hardware loses its bite and the whole panel can shift.
- Cracked or spalling concrete around the post base. Water got into the footing cap and worked the thermal cycle. In San Diego, that’s a slower process than back east, but over four or five years the base loses structural grip.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

Tremron fence installation in San Diego runs $4,130 – $10,620 installed. That range covers everything we touch: removing the failing post or panel section, hauling away the old concrete core, resetting footings to the depth the soil actually requires, and mounting with hardware that matches your Tremron line. On the low end, you’re typically replacing a single panel and resetting one post. On the high end, you’re pulling and resetting a twenty-foot run, re-leveling the gate, and correcting drainage at the base course.
Every quote includes the parts and labor as separate line items, so you know what the hardware costs and what the time costs. If we quote $6,000, that’s the number on the invoice unless we hit something structural that requires a written change order you approve first. The workmanship carries our 365-Day Done Right Promise: if the repair fails inside the year, we come back and fix it at no charge. And because we draw materials from brands that make comparable precast lines like Belgard and Unilock, we can match non-Tremron runs when a section of a long fence sits against a different product than the rest.
DIY or Call Us?
You can safely check the post bases yourself. Walk the line, look for daylight under a panel, put a level on each post, and note which posts move if you push gently at the top. But when it comes to the repair, know where the risk sits: a full precast Tremron panel weighs a couple hundred pounds, and resetting a footing means getting that panel off, keeping the post plumb while the new base cures, and lifting it back into position without cracking a seam. If the panel slips or the post is under load, you’re in a bad spot four feet off the ground with concrete in the air.
We set these every few weeks, so the job runs fast and clean. We’ll quote you a number over the phone once we understand what you’ve got, then we’ll verify it in person before a tool comes off the truck. Call (619) 604-9624 for a free estimate. FAQs

A properly set Tremron fence installation in San Diego should hold plumb for 20 to 30 years, with the precast panels holding up longer than the footings if the drainage around the base is good. The typical failure point is the concrete footing, not the panel. Coastal properties within three miles of the water may see hardware corrosion sooner, which is why we spec galvanized or stainless brackets on those jobs. If your fence is shifting at year five, the footing wasn’t set right the first time. Call (619) 604-9624 and we’ll tell you what a proper reset costs.
Most failing Tremron sections can be repaired by resetting the post and re-seating the panel, rather than replacing the whole run. If the concrete panel itself is cracked through, that section gets replaced. If the panel is sound and the problem is the footing or the mounting hardware, you’re looking at a repair, not a replacement. The honest answer depends on whether water has compromised the post core. An inspection gives us that answer.
Most Tremron fence section replacements in San Diego take one to two working days. The concrete footing needs time to reach initial set before the panel goes back on, so we typically pull and reset on day one, then mount and level on day two. We’ll give you a written arrival window before the job starts, and the price includes cleanup and haul-away of the old materials.
We keep common Tremron-compatible bracket sets, post anchors, shims, and galvanized hardware in our San Diego inventory, and we can source OEM Tremron parts through local suppliers when the job calls for exact spec. If you’re matching an existing Elite or Standard line, we’ll confirm the part number from the stake or bottom rail before ordering. Call (619) 604-9624 and we’ll check our stock while you’re on the line.
